Mini girls and a barbeque.

Mini in her hair girls. These are shrinkies before they are baked and smaller.

We had a lovely barbeque on the beach last night and the sail boats were out on Porthpean beach. They looked so pretty all out at sea.

Wes by the fire as usual, what is it with boys and fire haha. It was a lovely evening.

As you probably know by now I love a good beachcomb. It thrills me to find something beautiful for free. Also I like to see the beauty in the little natural things, maybe to see something that an other has missed is part of it too. I have made these little creatures from rubbish found on the beach. It's fun to piece bits together and create something fun from different materials. It might start from a ring of a balloon or a weird shape of plastic. Theyre cute hey ;) Exporing is so fun and it's a bonus to get fresh air and be by the waves.....Oh I love it and I'm so lucky to live in Cornwall where there is abundance of it :D The simple life is good!!!

Need more time :(

I'm busy in the gallery with it being the school holidays etc. Which sadly means not alot of free time to focus on my own artwork :( boo. I have done this painting above Mermaids on Driftwwod :) I also have a new "In her hair" sketched out ready to paint so keep checking......

More beach :)

One of my favourite places in Cornwall is Constantine. It's a stunning beach and stretch of coastline.

There is an abundance of jellyfish on Cornish beaches at the moment. Sorry this photo doesn't really show them well. But they are so pretty and interesting, such a shame :( There was so many on the beach i had to put my shoes on as i gave up trying to dodge them!!

Little things.

I haven't been painting much lately as my little bits and pieces are selling really well.So i've had to keep up with that and make sure I have enough stock at the gallery.
I have been making stickers, drawing on slates and metal pots, and making slate magnets.

I'm working non stop at the gallery, so i don't get much time to relax and escape at the moment :( However I had the evening off one day this week so we headed to the beach :) Porthpean is becoming one of my favourites. I find the cliffs and beach so beautiful. The only downfall is there's quite alot of seaweed in parts. We was fortunate enough to see a seal :D He was popping his head up in different places for about half an hour. I think he liked all the people and the sail boats.
The clouds and sky was quite spectacular and we watched the rain clouds coming in for a while before it got dark. It's the little things that matter to me ;)
